Pathways Unbound exists to dismantle systemic barriers, redefine workforce equity, and create pathways that lead not only to employment, but to healing, empowerment, and generational transformation. We believe communities thrive when people are equipped with the tools, support, and dignity needed to fully realize their potential.

Our Founder
Deirdre M. Wright is a social impact architect and systems-change advocate committed to expanding access, equity, and opportunity for historically underserved communities. As Founder & Executive Officer of Pathways Unbound LLC, she designs and leads culturally responsive, trauma-informed workforce initiatives that go beyond job placement to support long-term personal, professional, and economic transformation.
Her work builds partnerships that move businesses and community forward to create sustainable pathways toward stability, healing, and upward mobility. With over 20 years experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and grassroots organizing, Deirdre has launched and led programs that have transformed lives across Western New York. She is recognized for building holistic, equity-centered solutions that meet people where they are while challenging institutions to rethink how opportunity is created and sustained.
Her approach integrates career readiness, technical training, restorative practices, wellness, mentorship, and leadership development—grounded in the belief that thriving communities are built when people are supported not only professionally, but personally and emotionally.
Deirdre holds certifications in Everything DiSC®, Holistic Communication, Restorative Justice, Mental Health First Aid, OSHA General Industry, and Basic Life Support. She has also completed nonprofit and executive leadership training through the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University at Buffalo, the John R. Oishei Foundation Fellowship and the Harvard Business School Club of Buffalo. These experiences continue to shape her cross-sector, human-centered approach to leadership and workforce innovation.
